Yes, we offer mobile diagnostic ultrasound services for physicians throughout Eastern Oklahoma.

How should I prepare for my MRI?

Generally, no special preparation is needed for an MRI. Your doctor will inform you if there are any food or beverage restrictions, but this is typically unnecessary. Be sure to answer all initial screening questions honestly and remove any metallic items before your scan. Once you are in the MRI scanner, just relax and remain still.

How long does an MRI take?

An MRI typically takes between 20 to 45 minutes. This duration can vary based on the type of scan, the use of contrast, and other factors, as the machine needs time to adjust and gather the necessary information.

Can someone sit in the room with me?

Yes, we will do our best to accommodate requests for a second person to be present in the room during your exam.

What is the difference between an MRI and CT scan?

The main difference is in the technology used: MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) utilizes a large magnetic field and radio frequency pulses to produce detailed images of soft tissues, organs, and more. It offers clearer distinction between normal and abnormal tissues. CT (Computed Tomography) scans use x-rays and are quicker, but usually provide less detail and are primarily focused on imaging bone structures.

What is 2D, 3D and 4D?

2D is a standard black and white ultrasound recommended for babies 20 weeks and younger. 3D shows surface anatomy and is ideal between 26-35 weeks. 4D is a real-time video of 3D imaging.

Does this take the place of an Ultrasound at my doctor’s office?

Absolutely NOT! Our ultrasounds should not replace medical ultrasounds ordered by your healthcare provider.

Will you provide measurements of the baby or establish a due date?

No, we do not replace any prenatal care and advise establishing a relationship with a healthcare provider for accurate due dates and prenatal assessments.

Yes, ultrasound has been used for 40 years without harmful effects to the baby.

Is the 4D Ultrasound covered by Insurance?

Insurance does not cover our ultrasounds since they are considered elective procedures.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

A physician's referral is not required, but clients must be under active care from a healthcare provider.

Who performs the Ultrasound?

Only registered/board certified sonographers with OB/GYN specialty perform the ultrasounds.

Should I make an appointment in advance?

Yes, appointments must be made in advance.

Will I always get a beautiful picture of my baby?

While we strive to get great images, sometimes babies can be camera shy. We allow for a repeat scan at no extra charge if eligible.

Can I bring my family and friends?

Yes, we encourage clients to bring family and friends to share in the experience.

When are you able to tell the gender of the baby?

We can usually determine gender at 16 weeks, but baby cooperation is necessary.

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

Stay hydrated and avoid heavy meals 2-3 hours prior. A small snack prior to your appointment can help get the baby active.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

We request 24 hours notice for cancellations. If the baby does not cooperate, eligible packages allow for a free rescan within 2 weeks.

What is the visitor policy during COVID-19?

During COVID-19, each adult patient may receive one visitor per day. Visitors must wear face coverings and be at least 16 years old. Temperature checks and sanitization will be required at the entrance.
