What services do you offer?

We provide a range of diagnostic imaging services including X-Ray, Ultrasound/Sonography, Bone Mineral Density testing, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.

Do I need an appointment for your services?

X-Ray services are available on a walk-in basis, while ultrasound, Bone Mineral Density, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine studies require appointments.

Is the facility wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have made provisions to ensure our facility is wheelchair accessible, in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

What are your hours of operations?

We operate Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. For X-ray, there is no appointment necessary, but for ultrasound, walk-ins are accepted; however, booked appointments are preferred.

Do I need a requisition from my physician?

Yes, a medical referral is required to undergo an examination.

Can I expect my exam to be performed promptly and on time?

We strive to perform examinations in a timely manner, but emergencies may occasionally affect our schedule.

How should I prepare for my X-ray examination?

Generally, X-ray examinations require no special preparations. If any special preparation is needed, we will contact you.

Are X-ray examinations safe?

Yes, X-rays are considered safe as they use minimal doses of radiation. If you are pregnant, please inform the technologist beforehand.

How do I prepare for an abdominal ultrasound?

You should not eat or drink anything for 6 hours before your appointment. If it's later in the day, a small piece of toast or black coffee may be consumed before 9 AM.

What do I need to know about pelvic ultrasounds?

You must drink 32oz (1 litre) of liquid one hour before your appointment to ensure your bladder is full for better imaging.

How do I prepare for an obstetrical ultrasound?

Drink 32oz (1 litre) of liquid one hour before your appointment and avoid using the restroom to ensure your bladder is full.

Can my family attend the obstetrical ultrasound?

Family members may join after the examination is complete, as having them present can be a distraction.
