Please bring the requisition for the test filled out by your healthcare professional, along with your Ontario Health Card. If you wish to purchase pictures of your obstetrical study, a debit or credit card is needed, as we are a cashless facility.

When will my doctor get the results?

Urgent results are reported the same day. For routine studies, please allow a few days for your doctor to receive the results.

Can I get copies of my imaging studies to take to my doctor?

Yes, our images are stored digitally, and they can be copied onto a CD for a small processing fee, which can be paid by debit or credit card.

When should I arrive for my test?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow ample time for registration and preparation.

Where are you located?

Our address is Room 301;302- 247 Simcoe St North, Oshawa, ON L1G 4T3, located on the northeast corner of Simcoe and Adelaide, one block south of the hospital.

There are two parking lots available: one above ground off of Simcoe and another underground off of Adelaide. Please note that we cannot accommodate vehicles taller than 72 inches (approximately 6 feet).

Do you have female technicians?

Yes, we have a female technician who works on Tuesdays only. Please call ahead to confirm her availability, as she does not perform certain tests.

How long does it take for my doctor to get the results from my ultrasound?

It typically takes 2-3 business days for referring doctors to receive all ultrasound results. For echocardiograms and Holter monitors, it can take 3-5 business days.

Can I come as a walk-in for my ultrasound?

Yes, general ultrasound and X-ray services accept walk-ins Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. However, please call ahead to confirm availability for vascular and cardiac ultrasounds.

Are any doctors accepting patients?

Currently, no doctors are accepting new patients. This will change as availability arises, and updates will be posted on the website.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring your health card and any requisition forms. It’s also beneficial to have copies of any test results or letters from other doctors.

Do you have imaging facilities?

Yes, Durham Radiology Associates provides X-rays, ultrasound, and bone densitometry services. Appointments for ultrasound and bone densitometry can be made by calling 905-623-4512.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is parking with a flat rate of $5, and there’s no time limit on your visit.
