Ultrasound Imaging is a painless and non-invasive medical procedure that helps physicians diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. It uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the inside of the body.

Why is an Ultrasound done?

Ultrasound is excellent for non-invasively imaging organs and conditions, especially soft tissues and fluid-filled spaces. It can assess fetal development, and bodily functions such as breathing and movement.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments can be scheduled by you or your physician's office. An order form from your doctor is required to be faxed to Krislan prior to the exam.

What is the required preparation for my exam?

Preparation varies by type of ultrasound. For pelvic non-OB and OB less than 14 weeks, a full bladder is needed. OB greater than 14 weeks requires no preparation. Other exams may have specific requirements.

How will I get the results of my ultrasound?

The results will be faxed directly to your doctor's office after the radiologist interprets the scans.

Does Krislan accept my insurance?
