Preparation varies by type of ultrasound. For pelvic non-OB and OB less than 14 weeks, a full bladder is needed. OB greater than 14 weeks requires no preparation. Other exams may have specific requirements.

The results will be faxed directly to your doctor's office after the radiologist interprets the scans.
