For Highmark, they may send payment directly to you, which will require immediate payment of total charges to CommunityCare. Other insurance plans require appropriate authorization forms for direct payments.

What should I do if my insurance has changed?

It's important to provide CommunityCare with your updated insurance information as soon as it changes. Always bring your current insurance card to appointments and inform the receptionist of any changes.

Why did I receive a bill if I have insurance?

CommunityCare bills your insurance directly; however, if the insurance does not pay, the responsibility falls on you. To avoid surprises, ensure you provide accurate insurance information during your appointment.
