Where is your office located?

We have two imaging offices. Our main location is at 1025 Medical Center Drive, near New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Our satellite office is at 2800 Ashton Drive, Suite 102.

Do I need a doctor's referral to get a procedure done?

We accept most patients by referral only, although self-requesting screening mammogram patients are accepted. Referrals can be submitted by your doctor's office or brought to your appointment.

How can I get the results of my examination?

Results will be sent to your referring physician within 24-48 hours, and you can expect to hear from them within 3-5 business days.

Can I eat or drink before my examination?

It depends on the specific examination. Please call our scheduling department for exam preparation instructions.

How long will my test take?

Tests typically take between 15-60 minutes depending on the specific procedure.

Will my head go in the tube during an MRI?

It depends on the type of MRI you are having.

Why do I need oral and IV contrast?

Oral contrast highlights your intestines, while IV contrast highlights the arterial and venous systems.

Can I pick up x-rays for a friend or relative?

Yes, with written permission from the patient and proper ID.

Is it safe to have x-rays if I suspect I am pregnant?

It is generally advised to avoid radiation during pregnancy unless medically necessary.
