What should I expect the day of my exam?

Upon arrival, you'll fill out some paperwork with your demographic and insurance details. Depending on your insurance, you may need to pay a co-pay. The sonographer will then call you back for the exam, which typically lasts 30-60 minutes.

How long is the exam?

Most exams take around 30 minutes, but specific tests like renal artery or lower arterial ultrasounds may take up to 45 minutes.

What should I bring for my exam?

Bring a copy of your doctor's order (if you have one) and your insurance cards. You'll also complete forms regarding your demographic information and sign financial and HIPAA privacy agreements.

When can I expect my results?

Results are usually interpreted within 24-48 hours after your exam. Your findings will be sent to your referring doctor, who will then contact you regarding the results.

It's ideal to come in between 15-26 weeks for a whole body view and between 28-32 weeks for clear facial features.

How long is the 3D/4D/HD ultrasound session?

The session lasts between 10 and 25 minutes, but expect to spend 30 minutes to an hour in total.

When do I receive my 3D/4D/HD pictures and videos?

You will get your pictures and videos less than 5 minutes after your session has ended.

Will my doctor be contacted about the ultrasound?

We don't inform your doctor before the scan as it is elective, but we will contact them if any issues arise.

What if we are unable to get images?

If clear images can't be obtained due to various factors, we offer a free rescan within 14 days.

What if my baby is breech?

It's better to wait until the baby turns, but clear images can still be obtained if conditions allow.

Will being overweight affect the quality of images?

You can still have a successful ultrasound, especially after 30 weeks, as long as there's adequate amniotic fluid.

What are your operating hours?

We are open Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
