This ultrasound helps identify factors like heartbeat, baby’s position, gender, and count of babies, while providing lifelike prenatal pictures.

Is this harmful to me or my baby?

Ultrasound has been safely utilized for prenatal imaging for over 30 years. There is no evidence that it adversely affects the mother or baby. The ultrasound used is similar in intensity to that of a regular 2D ultrasound.

How does Ultrasound-Services’ elective ultrasound differ from my prenatal provider's diagnostic ultrasound?

The diagnostic ultrasound is a 2D scan ordered for medical reasons, while Ultrasound-Services focuses on enhancing the bonding experience with 3D/4D images, not replacing the essential diagnostic ultrasound.

Is an elective ultrasound covered by my health insurance?

Currently, medical insurance does not cover this elective ultrasound service.

When is the best time for a 3D/4D ultrasound?

The best time for 3D visualization is between 28-34 weeks, with 30 weeks being optimal for clearer images.

Will I always get beautiful pictures of my baby?

How many guests can I bring?

You can bring up to 10 guests comfortably, and there is room for more if needed.

We provide urine pregnancy tests only. If you require a blood drawn pregnancy test, it is recommended that you contact your physician or clinic.

Do you provide a Report of Pregnancy for Medicaid?

Yes, we can provide you with a report of pregnancy with a positive pregnancy test that is administered here in our center.

Can I bring my boyfriend/husband with me?

Yes. Biological fathers, fathers-to-be, and adoptive fathers are eligible for services with or without the mother present.

Do I have to be a certain age to use your services?

No. We serve all age groups. If you are a minor you are welcome to bring your parents.

I need help getting Medicaid and other services?

We are a member of the Community Partner Program and can provide assistance to you in signing up for Medicaid, SNAP, etc.

Can you help me get signed up for WIC?

No. You will need to go to the WIC office and sign up or signup online at https://texaswic.org.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely! We are a family friendly facility. We have a wonderful play area for the children and they are welcome to be in the classrooms with you as well.

Can I get an ultrasound?

We can provide ultrasounds for those with a positive pregnancy test. Ultrasounds are scheduled by appointment only.

Do I need to be a US Citizen?

No. We serve all regardless of immigration status, religion, race, etc. However, we do require that you reside within the state of Texas.

I'm a minor, can my parents come with me?

Yes. We provide assistance and services to parents and parents of minors.

I'm adopting a child/children. Am I eligible to receive services at your center?

Yes. We provide services to all adoptive parents of a child up to 36 months old or younger.

I'm the parent of someone who is pregnant, can I come in to talk to someone for guidance of where to go from here?

Yes. We partner with other agencies and organizations to provide the best possible resources to help in your time of need.

Do you provide assistance to foster parents, legal guardians, and care givers?

Foster parents, care givers, and legal guardians are all eligible for services.

You mentioned that you provide material assistance, what is that?

Material assistance includes, but is not limited to: formula, baby food, maternity clothing, diapers, wipes, infant and children's clothing up to size 6, high chairs, infant bathtubs, strollers, walkers, and more.

What can I expect at my appointment?

A technologist will escort you to the changing room and explain the exam process. You may need to change into a gown and secure personal items before the procedure.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Walk-ins are accepted for X-rays during business hours, but appointments are required for ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs.
