We provide both X-ray and ultrasound imaging services.

Do I need an appointment for an ultrasound?

Yes, ultrasounds require appointments, although walk-in appointments may be accepted depending on availability.

What are your office hours?

Our hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on Sunday.

Do I need an appointment?

For X-Rays, appointments aren't needed as walk-ins are welcome, but you can schedule one if preferred. Ultrasounds and Mammograms require appointments, though urgent walk-ins may be accommodated.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring your Provincial healthcare card, a photo ID, and the requisition form from your doctor.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

In Ontario, missing an appointment incurs a $25 charge. After the first missed appointment, the fee increases to $50 for subsequent missed appointments.

Are any pets allowed in the clinic?

Only trained service animals like guide dogs or hearing dogs are permitted in the clinic.

Is 3D Ultrasound Harmful?

NO, research shows that ultrasound scanning has never caused harm to a developing baby. It is considered one of the safest methods for monitoring unborn children.

What is the best time to do a 3D Ultrasound?

For optimal imaging, the best time for a 3D ultrasound is between 20 to 26 weeks of pregnancy to capture amazing baby movements. For twins, 21-24 weeks is ideal.

Is this the same as an Ultrasound at a medical clinic?

No, this ultrasound is for entertainment purposes only, whereas a medical clinic provides diagnostic scans. We can confirm heartbeat and baby positioning, but it is not a replacement for diagnostic ultrasounds.

Do I need an appointment and Doctor's Referral?

Yes, an appointment is necessary, but a doctor's referral is not required since our services are for support rather than medical reasoning.

What is the difference Between 3D and 4D Ultrasound?

3D ultrasound produces still images, while 4D captures live movements in real-time, allowing you to see your baby yawn, smile, and more.

What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept debit, Visa, MasterCard, and cash. Personal checks are not accepted.

Can I bring my Family and Friends?

Yes, we welcome up to 7 guests in addition to the expectant mother during the ultrasound session.

Are you able to tell the sex of the baby?

In most cases, yes. However, it can depend on various factors including baby's position and gestational stage. A follow-up visit will be offered if we cannot determine the sex.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Most general exams do not require an appointment and can be done on a walk-in basis. However, you may want to contact us first if the examination is something complex, like a skeletal survey.

Do I need a requisition for all types of exams?

Yes, you will need a requisition from your doctor or nurse practitioner for all examinations.

How should I prepare for the exam?

We ask that you shower, refrain from wearing scented products, and wear clothing that is easily removable if necessary. T-shirts with no heavy appliqué and elastic waist pants or shorts are ideal.

Should I have an x-ray if I am pregnant or think I may be pregnant?

You should not have an x-ray during the first trimester of your pregnancy unless approved by your doctor.

Can I bring my child with me to my appointment?

We request that you do not bring children to your exam. To prevent exposure to radiation, they cannot enter the x-ray rooms with you.

How long will my exam take?

General exams can range from 10 minutes (for a finger) to 45 minutes (for a complete spine or skeletal survey).

Will the technologist tell me what they saw in my exam?

Only radiologists are qualified to interpret results, so technologists cannot discuss findings with you.

You have the option to purchase a CD of your images for a fee.

When will my doctor get the report?

Reports are usually faxed to your doctor by the end of the day. Urgent results will be communicated as soon as possible.

How do I find the Clinic?

Our Etobicoke location is at 101 Westmore Drive, Suite 201, located on the second floor. For Oakville, it's at 418 North Service Rd. East, Level 1.

How do I set up an appointment?

You will need a referral from your physician. Once we receive it, we’ll contact you within 24-48 hours to book your initial consultation.

How long does a cycle take?

Generally, a cycle takes about 2-3 weeks, requiring only a few visits to the clinic.

Can single women access services?

Yes, our clinic provides services to women and men of all marital statuses.

What if my FSH is elevated or AMH is low?

These tests indicate ovarian function for fertility. We will discuss the best steps during your consultation.

Will my drug plan cover the medications?

Coverage varies by provider, so checking with them beforehand is advisable.
