How do I make appointments with a GP or other Allied Health professionals at the Clinic?

Appointments are available with all Doctors and Allied Health professionals. Each patient and family member needing a consultation should have their own appointment. If you cannot attend an appointment, please inform Reception in advance so we can allocate that slot to another patient. Walk-ins are possible, but expect variable wait times. Online appointments can be booked, but failure to attend two scheduled online bookings may result in a suspension from future online appointments. For longer consultations, please call ahead.

What do I do if I cannot attend my appointment?

Please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance to allow other patients the chance to be seen.

Can I get my Test Results over the phone?

Test results are not provided over the phone due to medico-legal reasons.

Can my GP email me my Medical Certificate?

Medical Certificates can only be issued after a consultation with the Doctor and cannot be backdated.

How do I obtain a Referral to Specialist?

Discussions regarding your condition are necessary before a referral to a specialist can be made. Referrals cannot be backdated, so ensure you have one prior to your visit.

Do you have a Reminder and Recall System at the clinic?

Yes, recalls and reminders are issued by the practice to ensure continuity of care and can be communicated via SMS, phone call, or letter.

Does your clinic provide Interpreter Service?

An interpreter service can be arranged if requested in advance at the time of booking.

Can doctors make House Calls?

House calls are available at the discretion of the Doctor for regular patients needing chronic or palliative care. It’s recommended to bring patients to the Centre when possible due to equipment limitations.

If I need to see a doctor during after-hours what do I do?

After-hours consultations are available through a deputizing service. In emergencies, call 000 or visit the nearest hospital.

How will you protect my Medical Records and Privacy?

All medical records are kept confidential, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, and cannot be disclosed without consent or legal justification.

Who do I contact if I am not happy with the services provided at your Medical Centre?

We encourage feedback or suggestions to be directed to the Doctor or the Director of the Centre.
