We offer two types of order forms for your convenience: PDF Order Form for those who prefer to print and handwrite the order details, and a Fillable PDF Order Form, which allows you to fill out the form directly on your computer. You can also use your own order form if you prefer.

Do I have to use the provided order forms?

No, you are not required to use our order forms. Feel free to send in your own if that is more convenient for you.

How can I view patient images?

You can easily access patient images through our 'View Images' link or our PACS portal. Existing users can log in with their account information, and if you need an account, please contact any of our offices for assistance.

What if I need an account to view images?

If you don’t already have an account, please reach out to any of our offices, and we will assist you in setting one up.

What is an elective prenatal ultrasound?

An elective prenatal ultrasound is a non-medical imaging procedure that provides realistic 2D, 3D, or 4D images to connect parents with their unborn baby.

Does this take the place of an ultrasound at my doctor’s office?

No, it is not a substitute for a medical ultrasound. You must have already had a medical ultrasound ordered by your healthcare provider.

Is it safe? Are there any risks to me, or my baby?

Extensive studies indicate that ultrasound has not shown harm to mothers or babies. The 3D and 4D ultrasounds use the same intensity of ultrasound as conventional 2D.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required for all services.

How long does the 4D ultrasound take?

The duration of a 4D ultrasound session ranges from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the chosen package.

How far along should I be for a 4D ultrasound?

It is recommended to have the ultrasound between the 29th and 36th week of pregnancy for the best results.

Will I always get a good picture of my baby?

While most of the time you will get good images, factors like the baby's position may affect visibility.

Can I bring family and friends?

Yes, you are encouraged to bring family and friends to share the experience.

Are you able to tell the baby’s gender?

Yes, we can often determine the gender as early as 16 weeks.

Is the 4D ultrasound covered by insurance?

Currently, elective ultrasounds are not covered by insurance and must be paid out of pocket.

How much does it cost?

We offer various packages to fit different budgets. Please see the pricing section on our website.

What is included on the DVD and CD-Rom?

DVD includes video of your session set to music, while the CD-Rom contains still images captured during your session.

What types of imaging services are offered at SBIC?

SBIC offers MRI scans, MRA scans, CT scans, cerebral angiograms, epidural steroid injections (ESIs), and lumbar punctures (LPs).

What measures are taken for patient comfort during imaging?

Patients can receive sedation if they are claustrophobic and can listen to their own music through headphones during scans.

Are there flexible hours available for appointments?

Yes, we have flexible hours and can accommodate evening and weekend requests for scans.
