What should I do as a new patient?

Complete the new patient paperwork beforehand and arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. Don't forget to bring your insurance card.

Absolutely not. An elective ultrasound should be in addition to a medical ultrasound ordered by your healthcare provider.

How is this different than the ultrasound performed/ordered by my doctor?

Medical ultrasounds focus on detecting abnormalities, while elective ultrasounds at our facility provide a relaxed environment for bonding.

Is it safe? Are there any risks to me, or my baby?

Extensive studies have shown that ultrasound does not cause harm to mother or baby. The same type of sound waves are used in both 2D and 3D/4D ultrasounds.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required for all of our services.

How long does the 3D/4D ultrasound take?

The session lasts for a full hour, with the ultrasound itself taking about 25-30 minutes.

How far along should I be before I have a 3D/4D ultrasound?

It is recommended to schedule the ultrasound between 24-36 weeks of pregnancy for the best images.

Is the 3D/4D ultrasound covered by my medical insurance?

Currently, insurance does not cover elective ultrasounds, so payment is out of pocket.

What happens during a postpartum wellness visit?

During your postpartum wellness visit, you will receive a blood pressure check and physical exam. You can discuss any new concerns, physical recovery, chronic disease management, contraception, and health maintenance.

How often should I schedule follow-up visits after delivery?

You will have a check-in call 10 days post-delivery and a routine wellness visit 6-8 weeks postpartum. Additional visits may be necessary depending on your individual health needs.

What childbirth education classes do you offer?

We offer various childbirth and parenting classes to help prepare you for the arrival of your baby.

We provide lactation consultations, breastfeeding support groups, and a variety of resources.

We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
