Who performs the breast ultrasounds?

All breast ultrasounds at Bay Radiology are performed by interpreting physicians for better correlation with imaging findings.

What imaging services do you provide?

We provide diagnostic imaging services including Bone Density (DEXA), Computed Tomography (CT), General Radiology and Fluoroscopy (x-ray), Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasonography.

What are your business hours?

Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept most insurance plans for our services.

The RDMS, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer®, is a credential that certifies competence in diagnostic medical ultrasound, ensuring best practices for patient safety and quality care.

What if the baby's face doesn't show?

We guarantee the baby's face will show during the scan. If it doesn't, you can return on another date at no extra cost.

When is the earliest I can get an ultrasound?

We recommend coming in at least 15 weeks to determine gender, and best face shots can be obtained after 28 weeks.

When is the latest I can get an ultrasound?

While we can capture great images up to 40 weeks, we advise scheduling around 31 weeks for the best results.

What items can I add to my package?

You can enhance your package with gender reveal items, DVDs, CDs, stuffed animals featuring your baby's heartbeat, online picture galleries, and other gift items.

What gender reveal items do you have?

Our options include smoke bombs, confetti poppers, balloons, and more.

How many people can I bring? Can I bring my kids?

We can comfortably seat 8, but many have brought up to 30. Kids are welcome and we provide toys to keep them entertained.

How and when will I receive my email link with the ultrasound/video stream?

The email link will be sent to you immediately after your session.

Do you need a deposit to book? How much?

Yes, a $25 deposit is required, which applies towards your appointment. You will receive a refund if you cancel at least 6 hours before.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash.

Do you take walk-ins?

Walk-ins are sometimes accepted, but we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability.

What if you don’t manage to determine the gender during our session?

If we cannot determine the gender, you are welcome to come back for free!

What is the difference between 2D / 3D / 4D?

2D is standard black and white imaging. 3D provides colored images for clarity, while 4D adds live motion to the 3D images.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, you receive 10% off your second visit, and we offer special deals on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so follow us on Facebook for updates!

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within 6 hours will receive a refund of the $25 deposit. You can cancel easily via your appointment confirmation email.

Do you speak Spanish?

Currently, we do not speak Spanish, but we use Google Translate to assist in responding to inquiries.
