For the most accurate result, wait a day or two after your period is due. If your periods are irregular, it's best to wait five to seven days after the missed period.

Why do I need an ultrasound?

An ultrasound is essential to confirm if the pregnancy is viable (checking for a heartbeat), to determine how far along you are, and to ensure the location of the pregnancy.

What is the abortion pill?

The abortion pill, or RU-486, involves taking more than one medication and can take several days. Knowing how far along your pregnancy is necessary prior to this method.

What are the risks of abortion?

Risks include incomplete abortion requiring follow-up surgery, ongoing pregnancy, heavy bleeding, infection, fever, digestive discomfort, and allergies to medications.

How much will my appointment cost?

Our pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, consultations, and educational opportunities are all offered at no cost.

Not always. A full bladder can help, but we can work without it if necessary. However, for heartbeat checks, a full bladder is required.

Is there anything I can do to help baby move?

A cold drink, like a slushie, can help encourage baby to move.

What if my baby does not cooperate?

If your baby doesn’t cooperate, we can schedule a free repeat appointment within 1 to 1.5 weeks, at the discretion of the sonographer.

Do you have walk-in appointments available?

We are by appointment only, but we sometimes have same day appointments available—just call or text to check.

Do we pay at appointment?

Yes, payment is due at the appointment, and we accept cash or credit card. A $25 deposit is required to secure your appointment, which goes towards your total.
