How long should I breastfeed?

What should I do if I have trouble breastfeeding?

If issues arise, contact a healthcare provider for assistance. It's important to seek help with latch, positioning, or any pain experienced.

How often should I breastfeed?

Newborns typically need to feed 8-12 times a day, or every 2-3 hours.

Can I return to work while breastfeeding?

Yes, your employer must provide reasonable time and a private place to pump or breastfeed for up to one year after birth.

What are the signs of endometriosis?

Endometriosis can manifest through painful, heavy, and irregular periods, severe abdominal pain outside of your period, pain during sexual activity, and difficulties with bowel movements or urination.

How is endometriosis diagnosed?

Diagnosis often requires a thorough screening by a women's health specialist, who will consider symptoms, medical history, and conduct appropriate tests.

What are the qualifications to utilize our services?

We provide services to expectant moms, dads, caregivers, legal guardians, and adoptive parents with children up to the age of 36 months of age.

What type of pregnancy tests do you provide?

We provide urine pregnancy tests only. If you require a blood drawn pregnancy test, it is recommended that you contact your physician or clinic.

Do you provide a Report of Pregnancy for Medicaid?

Yes, we can provide you with a report of pregnancy with a positive pregnancy test that is administered here in our center.

Can I bring my boyfriend/husband with me?

Yes. Biological fathers, fathers-to-be, and adoptive fathers are eligible for services with or without the mother present.

Do I have to be a certain age to use your services?

No. We serve all age groups. If you are a minor you are welcome to bring your parents.

I need help getting Medicaid and other services?

We are a member of the Community Partner Program and can provide assistance to you in signing up for Medicaid, SNAP, etc.

Can you help me get signed up for WIC?

No. You will need to go to the WIC office and sign up or signup online at https://texaswic.org.

Can I bring my children?

Absolutely! We are a family friendly facility. We have a wonderful play area for the children and they are welcome to be in the classrooms with you as well.

Can I get an ultrasound?

We can provide ultrasounds for those with a positive pregnancy test. Ultrasounds are scheduled by appointment only.

Do I need to be a US Citizen?

No. We serve all regardless of immigration status, religion, race, etc. However, we do require that you reside within the state of Texas.

I'm a minor, can my parents come with me?

Yes. We provide assistance and services to parents and parents of minors.

I'm adopting a child/children. Am I eligible to receive services at your center?

Yes. We provide services to all adoptive parents of a child up to 36 months old or younger.

I'm the parent of someone who is pregnant, can I come in to talk to someone for guidance of where to go from here?

Yes. We partner with other agencies and organizations to provide the best possible resources to help in your time of need.

Do you provide assistance to foster parents, legal guardians, and care givers?

Foster parents, care givers, and legal guardians are all eligible for services.

You mentioned that you provide material assistance, what is that?

Material assistance includes, but is not limited to: formula, baby food, maternity clothing, diapers, wipes, infant and children's clothing up to size 6, high chairs, infant bathtubs, strollers, walkers, and more.

What can I expect at my appointment?

A technologist will escort you to the changing room and explain the exam process. You may need to change into a gown and secure personal items before the procedure.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Walk-ins are accepted for X-rays during business hours, but appointments are required for ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

Yes, a referral from a qualified healthcare professional is necessary for all radiology examinations.

How can I get a copy of my results?

Once interpreted, you may request a copy of your report for personal use by signing a medical release.

What can I do if I don't have insurance?

We can provide a cash price quote for procedures. Please call for details.

Will my insurance cover this?

Do I need an authorization for this exam?

Most plans require pre-authorization for complex exams like MRI and CT scans.

Can I have the test performed at any radiology facility?

We ensure that all equipment is sterilized between each session, and our technicians strictly adhere to COVID safety guidelines.

Do I need to make an appointment to come in?

Yes, we ask that you book an appointment in advance to ensure you get the time slot that works best for you.

What should I expect during my appointment?

You can expect a relaxing atmosphere where you will be required to lay back and enjoy your ultrasound experience.

How many guests are allowed during my visit?

All ultrasound packages include up to 4 guests plus the mom. ONE additional guest can be admitted for a $10 add-on fee.

How can I get the best images of my baby like the ones I see online?

You can help us by staying well-hydrated and drinking plenty of water 5 days before your appointment. This improves image quality by increasing amniotic fluid.

Where are my digital photos?

Please download our Momitalk app to access your digital photos. If you're experiencing issues, contact us for assistance.

Do you accept Medicaid or insurance?

Currently, we do not accept Medicaid or any insurance. Payment can be made via credit/debit cards, Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal.

I'm 35 weeks along; can I still come in?

Yes, please book our Final Debut package for your visit.

What is the difference between 3D, 4D, HD, and 8K ultrasound?

3D provides still images, while 4D adds motion. HD enhances the detail of 3D images, and 8K further improves the realism.

What is your late/rescheduling policy?

All clients receive a 10-minute grace period. If more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule and may forfeit your deposit.

Is 3D/4D ultrasound safe for me and my baby?

Yes, they use the same sound waves as traditional ultrasounds, and we adhere strictly to FDA standards.
