Yes! We welcome family and friends at the ultrasound session and can seat 10 people comfortably.

Gender can be determined starting at 15 weeks gestation, although cooperation from the baby can vary.

Yes, extensive studies over 40 years indicate that ultrasound does not cause any harmful effects to mother or baby. It uses sound waves without radiation to create images.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, all sessions are by appointment only, although same-day appointments may be available.

At what age should a woman start having Pap smears?

Women should start having Pap smears at age 21.

Can I come for my appointment or procedure if I am on my period?

Yes, we will still be able to complete your exam or procedure.

At what age should I start coming to a Gynecologist?

We recommend you start coming to the gynecologist at age 21 unless there is an issue.

What do I do if I miss one dose of my birth control?

If you missed one, take it as soon as you remember. If you don’t remember until the next day, go ahead and take 2 pills that day and use back-up birth control.

Why don’t I get Pap smears yearly?

Women should still visit their OB/GYN each year, but women no longer have to have an annual Pap test. It is recommended that a Pap be performed every 3-5 years as long as the results are within normal limits.
