Will my head be in or out of the scanner?

For most procedures, your head will remain outside the scanner unless the head, neck, or shoulder areas are being scanned.

Why is it so important to remove ALL metallic objects before I enter the MRI scanning room?

All metal objects must be removed for safety reasons and to prevent artifacts from appearing on the MRI images.

How long does a CT scan take?

CT scan durations depend on the type of study, generally ranging from 5 to 30 minutes.

Do I need to be pre-authorized by my insurance company before my scan?

Although Pulse Imaging will attempt to obtain pre-authorization for all CT and MRI scans, it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to confirm that authorization has been secured prior to the scan.
