Do I need to make an appointment?

We love to receive walk-ins and will accommodate you whenever our schedule allows. However, we do recommend that you make an appointment when possible to ensure that you are seen when you come in.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

The only thing you will need to bring with you is a valid photo I.D. If you do not have this available, just provide us with three alternate forms of legal identification, such as a birth certificate, social security card, a bill in your name, or a school report card.

You may bring a guest for support. However, you will have a one-on-one session with a Client Advocate for the first 45 minutes of an intake appointment, during which time your guests will need to remain in the waiting area.

What can I expect from my pregnancy intake appointment?

Your intake appointment consists of three parts: a one-on-one session with a Client Advocate to discuss your options, a lab-grade urine pregnancy test, and a medical consultation with one of our medical professionals.

How long will my appointment take?

The duration will depend on the services provided. Generally, please allow for a full hour.

What are your service fees?

There is no cost for any of our services. We do not request insurance or billing information and aim not to profit from you.

Will my appointment be kept confidential?

Yes, your privacy is very important to us. All information is kept completely confidential in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

What is gestational diabetes?

Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that develops during pregnancy and affects how your body processes glucose.

How is gestational diabetes diagnosed?

Gestational diabetes is typically diagnosed through a glucose tolerance test, during which you drink a sugary beverage and your blood sugar levels are measured afterward.

What are the risks associated with gestational diabetes?

Uncontrolled gestational diabetes can lead to complications like high blood pressure for the mother and macrosomia, low blood sugar, and respiratory distress syndrome for the baby.

Can gestational diabetes be managed?

Yes, with proper care and monitoring, most women with gestational diabetes can manage it effectively and have healthy pregnancies.

What types of services do you offer?

We offer a full range of obstetric and gynecological services, including prenatal care, infertility treatments, well woman exams, and ultrasounds.

What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on weekends.

What is the difference between 3D ultrasound and 4D/HD ultrasound?

3D ultrasound produces still images, while 4D/HD ultrasound includes the dimension of motion, allowing it to look like a video.

Is 3D and 4D/HD ultrasound safe for me and my baby?

Yes, both use the same frequency as standard 2D ultrasounds, and there are no proven side effects when used properly.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance as this is an elective procedure.

When is the best time to have a 3D/4D/HD ultrasound?

It’s recommended between 15-26 weeks for a full view and 25-34 weeks for detailed images, especially from 28-32 weeks.

How accurate is gender determination?

We can determine gender with high accuracy at 15+ weeks. If visibility is an issue, we'll invite you back for a free rescan within 14 days.

How long does a 3D/4D/HD ultrasound session last?

Sessions last between 10 to 25 minutes, but plan on spending up to an hour at our studio for paperwork and preparation.

What are the payment options?

We accept major credit/debit cards and cash for payments.

When will I receive my 3D/4D/HD images and videos?

You’ll receive your images and videos less than 5 minutes after your session.

Will my doctor be notified about my ultrasound?

We do not contact your doctor unless something concerning is found during the scan.

What should I do prior to my appointment?

Drink plenty of water to ensure clear amniotic fluid and consider having fruit juice shortly before your appointment to help wake your baby.
