We require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. Cancellations without this notice will incur a $40 non-refundable charge.

What is your No Show Policy?

No shows will result in full payment being charged to the credit card on file. This charge is non-refundable.

What is an elective prenatal ultrasound?

Elective prenatal ultrasounds provide bonding experiences for parents and families, and are not used for diagnosing abnormalities.

Does this take the place of an ultrasound at my doctor’s office?

No, an elective ultrasound is not a substitute for a medical diagnostic ultrasound.

Is it safe? Are there any risks to me, or my baby?

Ultrasound has been shown to be safe with no risks to mother or baby when used properly.

What kind of ultrasound equipment do you use?

We use the Chison Sonobook 9 for all our ultrasound examinations.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required for all services.

Do I need a full bladder?

A mildly full bladder is recommended for those under 23 weeks to assist in viewing the baby.

Will I always get a beautiful image of my baby?

We offer a complimentary repeat scan if the initial images aren't satisfactory due to baby positioning.

Can I bring my family and friends?

Yes, we have space for about 3 additional friends or family members.

What if I do not want to know the gender of my baby?

That's perfectly fine! We can avoid revealing gender during the scan.

What is a Heartbeat Buddy?

A Heartbeat Buddy is a stuffed animal that records your baby’s heartbeat.

What services does Options for Women provide?

Options for Women offers pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI/STD testing, and various support resources.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and by appointment.
