What do volunteers do?

Our volunteers play an important role, helping our staff make the hospital experience better for patients, including supporting visitors.

Will I be interviewed?

Yes, if your application is shortlisted, you will be offered an interview.

Do all applicants get accepted for volunteering?

Acceptance depends on meeting the criteria of the job description after a shortlist for interviews.

How long and how often can I volunteer?

Volunteers should commit to at least four hours a week for a minimum of four months.

Can I claim expenses?

Yes, volunteers receive lunch vouchers and are reimbursed for travel costs.

How can I change or cancel my appointment?

You can change your appointment online easily or call the telephone number on your appointment letter.

What should I do if I have concerns about my care?

If you have concerns about your care, speak to the consultant or nurse in charge or contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).

What happens during a pregnancy scan?

During a pregnancy scan, a sonographer will use ultrasound technology to visualize your baby and assess its anatomical well-being, providing you with printed images and a detailed report.

How can I prepare for my ultrasound appointment?

It’s best to arrive with a full bladder for abdominal scans and follow any specific preparation guidelines provided by our clinic beforehand.

What should I do before my appointment?

Prior to your appointment, you will receive essential information via email. An online questionnaire related to COVID-19 symptoms must be completed; failure to do so will lead to appointment denial.

What are the COVID-19 protocols at the clinic?

The clinic has implemented social distancing, proper PPE usage, and stringent infection control to ensure patient safety during visits.

What types of services do you offer?

We provide physiotherapy for musculoskeletal conditions, diagnostic ultrasounds, and injection therapy including corticosteroid injections.
