Studies over 35 years have shown that ultrasound is safe for both mother and baby, utilizing sound waves similar to radar for imaging.

Do I need an appointment?

How long does the ultrasound take?

Ultrasound sessions typically last between 5 and 25 minutes, but may take up to an hour for certain packages to finalize images.

How far along should I be before I have a 4D ultrasound?

Will I always get a beautiful picture of my baby?

3D and 4D ultrasounds use the same frequency as your doctor's standard 2D ultrasound. They're safe and have been in use for over 35 years with no proven side effects from proper use.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance as these procedures are elective.

When is the best time to have a 3D/4D ultrasound?

It varies by preference, but many opt for sessions between 15-26 weeks for more of the baby’s body and between 28-34 weeks for detailed facial features.

What should I do before the appointment?

Stay hydrated with at least 100 oz of water daily for a week before your appointment and drink a cup of fruit juice half an hour prior to waking your baby for the session.

What if we are not able to get images?

Your satisfaction is our priority. If the session doesn’t yield clear images due to factors beyond our control, you’ll be offered a complimentary reschedule within a week.

Are there any hidden fees?

No, we are transparent about costs with no hidden fees. If clear images can't be obtained, a complimentary rescan is offered.

The strong magnetic field is not harmful but may pose a hazard with medical devices that contain metal.

What are the alternatives to an MRI?

Alternatives to MRI may include CT scan, bone scan, arthrography, and ultrasound among others.

What can I expect before my MRI exam?

There is little preparation for an MRI. Patients should take their daily medications unless instructed otherwise and arrive at least 15 minutes early.

What if I might be pregnant?

MRI should only be performed during the first trimester when there is a clear and urgent indication. The decision is made on a case-by-case basis.

Is transportation available?

Will I be able to drive after my exam?
