All ultrasounds are performed on the belly with an ultrasound probe. We do not perform transvaginal ultrasounds.

How many weeks should I be for 3D/4D?

We suggest booking between 25-35 weeks.

What’s the difference between 3D/4D and 5D?

3D/4D has an orange tint, while 5D has more of a pinkish skin tone look, creating a more realistic look inside of the womb.

How many guests can accompany me for my session?

We can accommodate Mom plus 5 guests, children included.

Can I bring my whole family to your office?

Yes, we are a Family Practice Office and treat patients aged 2 and older. For children under 16, we recommend consulting a pediatrician for routine visits.

How can I save money with a high deductible plan at Reagan Medical?

Yes, you can get tests done without insurance. You can also see one of our providers to determine which tests you may need.

Gestational diabetes is diabetes diagnosed during pregnancy in women who did not have diabetes before. It involves high glucose levels that can affect both the mother and the baby.

How can gestational diabetes be managed?

Management includes maintaining a healthy lifestyle prior to and during pregnancy, monitoring blood sugar levels, eating a balanced diet, and communicating regularly with your healthcare provider.

What risks does gestational diabetes pose for my baby?

Babies born to mothers with gestational diabetes are at risk for being larger than average and possibly experiencing low blood sugar levels after birth.

What is the difference between a diagnostic and elective ultrasound?

When is the best time to have a 3D/4D ultrasound?

The ideal timeframe for undergoing a 3D/4D ultrasound is between 28 to 32 weeks, as the baby is more developed by then. Some parents opt for two sessions: one in the earlier stages (14-26 weeks) and another closer to the due date (27-34 weeks).

How long is the 3D/4D ultrasound session?

Session lengths vary based on the chosen package and can last from 15 minutes to an hour.

When do I get my 3D/4D pictures and videos?

You will receive your images and videos at the end of your session on the same day.
