When is the best time to get a 3D/4D/5D ultrasound?

You can schedule a 3D/4D/5D ultrasound at any point in your pregnancy: First Glimpse starts at a minimum of 8 weeks (10 weeks for fuller figured mothers), Glimpse of Gender is best at 14 weeks (16 weeks for fuller figured mothers), and Glimpse of Love/Deluxe is recommended between 28-34 weeks (31-35 weeks for fuller figured mothers).

Is 32 weeks the cut-off time to get a 3D/4D/5D ultrasound?

Contrary to some beliefs, the 32-week mark is not a strict cutoff. In fact, scheduling closer to 32-34 weeks can result in clearer images as your baby's features become more defined. Exceptional images have been captured up to 37 weeks.

Are elective ultrasounds safe?

Yes, 3D/4D/5D ultrasounds operate at the same intensity and frequency as standard 2D ultrasounds that doctors use. With over 35 years of use, there are no proven side effects from proper ultrasound application.

Is it guaranteed that I will get a perfect photo?

While we strive for the best images, we cannot guarantee perfection due to variables beyond our control, such as the baby's position and the mother's body type. Staying hydrated in the week leading up to your appointment can improve results.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, insurance does not cover elective ultrasounds. We accept cash and card payments, and HSA cards have been used successfully in the past, but it's advisable to bring a backup payment.

Do you charge double for twin pregnancies?

No, we do not charge double; however, there is an additional fee of $25 for each additional fetus for Glimpse of Gender, and $50 for Glimpse of Love/Deluxe.

Are friends and family able to join?

Absolutely! Our ultrasound room comfortably accommodates up to 4 people, with additional guests welcome to stand. All images are displayed on a 65" TV screen for optimal viewing.

Is there a fee for services?

All our services are provided at no cost to you. We are a Christian, nonprofit clinic, entirely funded by churches and caring individuals.
