How should I prepare for my appointment?

Hydration plays a significant role in generating clear 3D/4D ultrasound images during pregnancy. Therefore, it is important to drink plenty of water daily for 4-5 days leading up to your appointment. It's also advised to eat a light meal or snack about an hour before your visit.

What if my baby is not in a position to get good images?

While we strive to achieve the best quality pictures, there are instances when babies may not cooperate, resulting in less than optimal images. Although we do not offer refunds, we provide a complimentary redo session if determined necessary by the sonographer. This session must be scheduled within two weeks of the original appointment to ensure similar gestational timing.

What is the difference between 2D, 3D, 4D, and HD LIVE?

Ultrasound scans, also known as sonograms, utilize high-frequency sound waves to create images without any radiation exposure, using the same technology found in doctor's offices. A 2D ultrasound provides traditional, flat, black-and-white images. A 3D ultrasound generates true three-dimensional images of your baby, allowing visibility of specific facial features. A 4D ultrasound displays a moving three-dimensional image of your baby, showcasing actions like yawning and turning. HD LIVE provides realistic flesh tones and enhances image quality with filtered light.
