The experience at The Bump was absolutely wonderful! The technologist made sure to explain everything during the ultrasound, and being able to see our baby in 4D was just magical!
Frequently asked questions
help_outline Can I bring guests? How many guests can I bring? Are Children allowed?
Yes! We encourage you to bring your friends and family along to share this special moment together. Children are also welcome. We have enough seating for 9 people but more are welcome if they're okay with standing.
help_outline Should I have a full bladder for my session?
We always recommend you stay well hydrated, especially 1-2 weeks prior to your session, promoting the most amniotic fluid around baby which helps to see better. The only time that having a full bladder helps see better is up until about 17 weeks.
help_outline Can I hear my baby's heartbeat?
The only time we cannot hear the baby's heartbeat with ultrasound is in the 1st trimester (8wks-14wks). Using motion mode (M-Mode) on ultrasound will be used in the 1st trimester which will only provide the numerical value of baby's heartbeat.
help_outline When's the earliest I can find out my baby's gender?
We do all we can do for accuracy, but gender is never 100% on ultrasound, especially before 17 weeks. We only start offering gender scans at 17 weeks.
help_outline What if I want a quick check up on baby today?
At The Bump, we understand how your nerves can take over throughout pregnancy, please contact us to see if we can squeeze you in for the same day!

We do all we can to accommodate everyone but cannot make any promises. Always welcome to reach out to us to see if we can squeeze you in the same day!
help_outline What are your cancelation policies?
We require a 1-hour notice for any cancellations without any penalty. Any client that cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice forfeits any money already paid. We allow one reschedule free of any penalties, if rescheduled within a 1-week time frame.
help_outline Can I use insurance to pay for my session?
We are an elective studio, meaning we do not accept any insurances. We accept credit cards, Venmo, and cash.
help_outline What happens if we are unable to get any pictures?
Our experienced ultrasound technologist does everything she can to obtain the best images possible. However, multiple factors may make it difficult to get perfect pictures, and there is no guarantee. Our goal is to ensure everyone has an ultimate bonding experience and will do everything we can to obtain the best images possible of your little one.
help_outline When will I get my images/videos?
We send all of our 2D/3D/4D/HD images and videos the same day. The only images that you will not receive the same day are the 8K images, which will take about 4-5 days and will be emailed to you as soon as they are available.
