help_outline What should I expect during an MRI examination?
During an MRI, you will be comfortably positioned on a special table that slides into the MRI system. The technologist will perform the sequences at the control unit in an adjoining room, and you'll communicate with them via an intercom.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. If you are diabetic, special preparations may be required, and for CT scans with IV contrast, avoid eating for four hours prior.
