What is the difference between 2D/3D/4D Ultrasounds?
A 2D image is the traditional black and white image that most people are accustomed to seeing. A 3D image provides a different perspective with amber coloring, and a 4D image shows the 3D images in motion, adding the dimension of time.

Does this take the place of the ultrasound that my doctor has ordered and will my insurance cover it?
No, this ultrasound is elective and intended for entertainment purposes only. You must obtain prenatal care and diagnostic ultrasound through your obstetrician, and our services are not covered by insurance.

Yes, studies over the last 30 years have shown no harm to mothers or babies from ultrasound. It uses sound waves rather than radiation.

How far along do I need to be to determine the gender of my baby?
We can determine gender as early as 15 weeks, but if the baby is uncooperative, we offer a no-charge 5 minute re-check that includes one free picture. However, we cannot guarantee gender 100%.
