Drink plenty of water in the 4-5 days leading up to your appointment for clearer 3D/4D images, and have a light meal an hour before to help your baby move.

A 2D ultrasound is a traditional black and white image for gender or profile, while a 3D ultrasound provides a static three-dimensional image. A 4D ultrasound adds live imaging to see real-time movements. HD ultrasound gives a higher definition and more realistic image.

While I strive to capture high-quality images, sometimes babies may not cooperate. Refunds are not available, but I offer one redo session for a fee of $50, or for free if you come to me, as determined by the sonographer.

No, insurance won't cover elective ultrasounds since they are not based on medical necessity.
