The best way to come prepared for your first appointment is to complete our new patient forms in advance and bring them with you. If you email or call us, we will happily send you new patient forms to fill out. We also recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early.

Unless there is a medical problem, you should have your first pelvic exam around the age of 21 or sooner if you begin sexual activity.

Women age 40 and older should have mammograms every one or two years. If you believe you may be at a higher risk for breast cancer, ask your physician when you should start being examined.

If you’ve tested positive with a home pregnancy test, call us to schedule an appointment approximately eight weeks from your last menstrual period.
